Financials Unshackled Going Deep (Substack): Detailed briefing on a key development(s) / theme(s) on a singular topic or shorter ‘bites’ on up to three different topics (published Thursday afternoons).
Financials Unshackled Ireland (and Europe) Weekly Essentials & Perspectives (own email): Detailed briefing on Irish and European Banking & Specialty Finance sector developments (European content will focus mainly on regulatory developments) along with company-specific developments in an Irish context (published Sunday afternoons).
Financials Unshackled UK Weekly Essentials & Perspectives (own email): Detailed briefing on UK Banking & Specialty Finance sector and company-specific developments (published Sunday evenings).
The author commits to ensuring that the views expressed in the ‘In-Depth Briefings’ are honest, impartial and unbeholden to any agenda at all times - hence, ‘Unshackled’.

About the Author
Prior to founding SeaPoint Insights, I was an institutional equity and fixed income analyst at Goodbody, specialising primarily in UK & Irish Banks (and real estate) research. I was consistently the No.1 ranked analyst in the firm in an institutional equity client revenue recognition context and was also frequently invited to present to UK bank & building society Boards / Executive Committees and at conferences / All-Parliamentary Party Groups / etc.
I am a Qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA) with deep and broad senior-level experience across Capital Markets (2015-24), Government (2012-15), Bank Group Strategy (2011-12), and Corporate Finance (2003-11). I hold a BSc from University College Cork and an MSc from The London School of Economics, and was recently awarded a Certificate in FinTech from Harvard University.
